Each morning at 6 am, we alternate the men’s and women’s bathing areas, inviting you to discover the unique charms of each throughout your stay.

Amairo no yuIn-door bath, Open-Air Bath, Sauna

The name “Amairo no yu” (Sky-Color Bath) is inspired by the vivid blue tiles lining its walls—hues that echo a crystal-clear, sunlit sky. From the open-air bath, gaze out upon surrounding mountains and the boundless sky, perfectly framed between the tub’s edge and the roofline, as you immerse yourself in the gentle chorus of flowing water and the subtle hum of insects.

AMAIRO NO YU SAUNA is uniquely designed with hexagon shapes.
The wooden roof,a skylight window,chairs,and even a bath tub are hexagon shaped.
From the saunaroom,you habe a calming view of the rice fields.

Geppaku no yuOpen-Air Bath / Sauna

“Geppaku (Moon White)” draws its name from a soft, moonlit hue subtly tinged with blue. Inspired by the gentle white walls of the washing area and the delicate moonlight that graces the bath at night, it evokes a serene and contemplative atmosphere. As you listen to the quiet murmur of water and the subtle chorus of insects, the shifting seasons and passing hours reveal ever-changing vistas—each moment offering its own tranquil enchantment.

Sauna

The sauna at Geppaku no Yu stands out with its wooden benches, embodying the essence of Shigeru Ban’s iconic paper tube design.
A tranquil water feature stretches outward through expansive windows, creating a serene, open atmosphere that invites deep relaxation and immersion in the moment.
After your sauna session, rejuvenate with a refreshing plunge into the cold bath, then unwind in the open-air relaxation area. The seamless view of water and sky fosters a profound connection to nature, offering a harmonious moment to savor and treasure.

Tokiiro no yu(Indoor Bath)

We named “TOKIIRO NO YU”after the pale,soft pink tiles of the indoor bath.
The main feature is the ceiling,wooden pieces beautifully assembled together into a hexagon shape.
From the skylight window in the middle,sunlight shines gently during the day,and at night,you can take a bath while enjoying the stars.

  • Please bring the towel provided in your room.
  • Detailed sauna instructions and guidelines are posted at the entrance to the spa building; please review them before use.
